This creative camp will be retelling fairy tales in an exciting new way. It will help the actors in your family engage their creativity while enocouraging self-expression and creative thought. We will be learning about the Tools of an actor; uring our Body, Voice, and Imagination in fun new ways. We will be creating stories, using costumes, and protraying our favorite Fairy Tale characters and Anti-Heroes. We will be learning to work together as an ensemble to shake up fairytale land and give it some modern flare! We will be sharpening our focus, improving our listening skills, gaining communication and collaboration skills, as well as learning to think outside the box, and creating hysterical characters. The week will finish with a funny Show performed for parents and friends.

Seuss-a-rific Fun, Let's Visit The Jungle of Nool!

This exciting camp will help the actors in your family engage their creativity while encouraging self-expression and creative thought using stories by king of Imagination, Dr. Seuss. We will be learning about the Tools of an actor; using our Body, Voice, and Imagination in fun new ways. We will be creating stories, using costumes, and portraying our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, while learning to work together as an ensemble. We will be sharpening our focus, improving our listening skill, gaining communication and collaboration skills, as well as learning to think outside the box, and creating hysterical characters. The week will finish with a show full of songs, dances and fun performed for parents and friends.

Serving Up The Fun! Cooking up some fun with Animal chefs

This camp will be using personification to combine your favorite animals and your favorite cooking shows. Actors will need to pour in a lot of imagination and help spice up our stories. Bring a cup full of creativity and a dash of self-expression and creative though. We will be learning about the Tools of an actor; using our Body, Voice, and Imagination in fun new ways. We will be creating sets, using costumes, learning scripts, and learn how to work together as an ensemble. We will be sharpening our focus, improving our listening skill, gaining communication and collaboration skills, as well as learning to think outside the box, and creating hysterical characters. The week will finish with a Delicious performance for parents and friends.

Summer camp will be led by LeeAnna Lambert with the assistance of members of our artistic company. She has been a working actress and Storyteller here in Atlanta for over twenty years. She received her BFA in acting from the University of Connecticut. As a teaching artist for the Alliance Theatre, A puppeteer for Piccadilly Puppets, and Imaginator at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, LeeAnna has been bringing stories to life for children all over the Southeast. Her goal is to inspire children to use their imagination and hopes her performances foster a love of reading. She has taught acting classes and camps for Alliance Theater, Pace Academy, Georgia Ensemble, Georgia Shakespeare, and Cobb County.
